We are often asked about coaching and coach training: "What does it involve? What, exactly, is coaching? How might one benefit from coaching and/or coach training?     Coaching is about empowering the other person or group, and enabling them to discover and fulfill their goals and dreams.  Coaching is committed to helping others become self-fulfilled in their work and their lives.  It is leading others to discover their fullest potential.  This module of Coaching Training addresses the incorporation and use of a wide variety of assessment tools when coaching.  The module also includes a review of, and connection to, ICF Core Competencies.

    This training opportunity is one of three two-day modules related to Coaching Training.  Each of the two-day modules consists of a total of 16 hours, and will be conducted at the Center for Congregational Health, 1920 Queen Street, Winston-Salem, NC.  We'll begin at 9:00 AM on Monday, August 12, and will complete the module at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 13.  The cost is $567; including lunches and snacks.  (Participants are responsible for their own lodging.)

    In this module of Coaching Training, participants are introduced to the structure of coaching relationships.  Additionally, a variety of coaching resources and tools are introduced.  Coaching principles and practices are disseminated through experiential practice.  The ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics are also reviewed in this session.

    Coaching is an art that is developed over time.  Continued growth and development of skills is a necessity for the successful coach.  This webinar is designed to enhance and strengthen the skills, principles and practices that are essential for working with groups in a wide variety of settings.  This webinar is for participants who have a thorough working knowledge of ICF Core Competencies and are able to exhibit those competencies and ethical guidelines through application and experiential exercises in coaching, observation, and feedback.

    Webinars will take place on five Monday afternoons, between 3:00 - 5:00 PM (ET), beginning October 21 through November 25 (if necessary to accomplish all five webinars).  Instructions for connecting to the webinar will be emailed to registrants a few days prior to the event.
