Intentional Interim Ministry Training

Intentional Interim Ministry (IIM) Training consists of three distinct parts:

  • The introductory “Interim Ministry for Today’s Church” course
  • The IIM Lab
  • IIM Fieldwork

The goal of IIM Training is to help a pastor learn to lead a congregation through the intentional interim ministry process. This training, therefore, is focused on:

  • Leading the formation, orientation and facilitation of a team of church members to work on the five focus points of an interim church
  • Learning methods by which a congregation can work with these focus points
  • Discovering resources to assist the church with conflict and other possible interim issues.

This training event is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 16, 2015; it will conclude before noon on Friday, November 20, 2015.

Tuition is $1,095.  An additional charge of $370 covers a single room for four nights, and all meals/breaks during the event.  For commuters (meals/breaks only), there is an additional charge of $140.

Costs: $1500 (single); $1230 (commuter)

Note: A quality learning experience is dependent upon a minimum number of active participants.  The Center reserves the right to cancel any training event that does not reach a minimum of 10.  Please take this into consideration when making travel arrangements.
