Coach Training 1: Intro to Coaching (16 hours)

What is coaching, and how might I use it to strengthen my performance as a leader? Participants are introduced to the structure of coaching relationships, plus an introduction to a variety of coaching resources and tools.  Participants will also experience an introduction to group coaching and leadership with groups.  Special attention will be given to leadership in team settings and in ministry settings, as well as being attentive to leadership connected with faith and spirituality. The International Coach Federation Core Competencies and Code of Ethics are presented and utilized. This course is a prerequisite for Coach Training 2. A certificate and description of the hours will be issued for use toward ICF certification.

Dates: The dates for this class are March 7 – 8, 2019 (Thursday and Friday)… Thursday: 10 AM – 6:30 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Cost: $595 (Participants are responsible for their lodging; lunch and snacks will be provided.)

Location: The Center for Congregational Health, 1920 Queen Street, Winston-Salem, NC

Please note: A good learning experience is dependent upon a minimum number of active participants. The Center reserves the right to cancel any training event that does not reach a minimum of 10. Please take this into consideration when making travel arrangements.
