What do you bring to the Center for Congregational Health table? That is a good question best answered by others I serve with or have worked with on the board. If I had to answer, I would include the following: a desire to make a difference, interest in what the Center does and how it makes a difference, knowledge of the community, significant involvement in community activities and leadership on various boards. Long-term involvement in church work, understanding of issues and challenges facing the church, and relationships with clergy. Asking questions, seeking to understand and help the organization be productive and effective.

Why do you give your time and talents to serve on the Center for Congregational Health board of directors? That is easy; it is in my DNA. My personal mission statement (I carry it with me daily) is: My magnificent obsession is to continuously develop and use my God-given talents to provide for my family; to influence the future development of people and organizations to learn and grow beyond their current bounds; and to enjoy this journey called life! It is my responsibility to give back, to make a difference and demonstrate what I believe through my actions. And, someone asked me to do so!
